The Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) presented its ocean-climate priorities at the 26th session of the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland. The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has affirmed its support to establish a global operational surface ocean CO2 reference network.
